How to Change Default Internet Explorer Home Page

Problem Description:
Internet Explorer and other browsers such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox are preconfigured with a default home page. Depending on where you have purchased your computer or how you have downloaded and installed the browser the default home page can be a search engine such as Bing, Google, or Yahoo, or a website of the PC manufacturer such as HP, Dell, and Acer. All browsers provide the ability to change this default setting.
Affected Products:
Internet Explorer for Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows Vista and Windows XP. Internet Explorer for Mac Operating System. Applies to Internet Explorer 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and beyond.

Instructions for Changing Internet Explorer Home Page :
Step 1 : Use Internet Explorer Settings
  1. Open Internet Explorer by clicking the Internet Explorer icon on the taskbar.
  2. Go to a page that you'd like to set as a home page.
  3. Tap or click Options and under Home pages, tap or click Customize.
  4. Tap or click Add current site, edit the URL if you'd like and then tap or click Add to make the site one of your home pages.
  5. The next time you open a new browsing session, this site will load automatically.
